The residents of Latvia see the time and energy contributed in facilitating their homes as a burden

Almost half or 48% of the residents of Latvian consider the time and energy spent to be the biggest burden in the process of choosing and purchasing home repair materials, according to a study conducted by the research centre SKDS and company “Reaton” on home finishing repair habits in Latvia.

According to the residents, the need to orientate in the prices of repair materials (39%), as well as doubts about the quality of the finishing materials (34%) are additional difficulties in the process of home improvement. In turn, 24% of the respondents also find it difficult to coordinate the finishing materials.

The results of the SKDS and Reaton study show that more than half of the Latvian population or 52% perform finishing repairs less than once every five years, while 24% indicate that they do it every 3-5 years, therefore this process must be especially well considered and should facilitate the client’s daily life. In order for the residents to be able to avoid the expected difficulties in due time, “Reaton” recommends trying to organise this process with the help of the new service “Homeowner”,” says Andrejs Jerkins, Head of the Finishing and Interior Department of “Reaton”.

“In the interior design, as in any art, it is important to think about the unified concept of the idea. When renovating a home, I invite you to think mainly about a unified image of what you are planning to implement. “Reaton” offers a wonderful relief in the choice and purchase of finishing materials, within which everything has been taken care of. When testing all three types of finishing solution sets offered by “Homeowner”, I concluded that the offer has a very wide selection of materials that allows people with different tastes to easily improve their homes,” says designer Agnese Rudzīte, who has tried the new “Reaton” service.

For a more convenient home improvement process the company “Reaton” has developed a new service for its customers – “Homeowner”, which allows you to choose the most suitable type of finishing in a virtual environment, to quickly estimate the costs, to receive individual consultations and to order the required finishing materials in one place. Thus, the residents can save not only time, but also finances, in addition to receiving the guaranteed quality of materials and their convenient delivery to the home.

The need for such a service is also confirmed by the results of the study, where more than 59% of the surveyed residents said that they would be interested in purchasing ready-made sets of finishing materials. “Reaton” currently offers sets in three different price categories. For each type of set, a specific price per square metre is applied for the entire service, and no additional costs can occur.
